Good Bream
Submitted by jighead on Sat, 2015-05-30 06:53
Fishing with my brother last weekend and he caught this nice bream. Using a mustad light gauge circle hook size 6, no sinker and a small bread ball for bait. He was released into the esky. It had a small blue manna crab in it's belly.

Nice fish, shame you had to keep it, that fish would have been 30-40 years old.

Well done on the catch! I
Well done on the catch! I am always a fan of decent size bream, especially on light tackle.
Nothing wrong with eating fish you catch as long as its above legal size.

Cracking bream! That fish
Cracking bream! That fish would have a story to tell with all the clowns his dusted up in the past 35years, i say its had a good life and now its made room for another stonker to take over its den. Yes sad to see but now jighead you get a feed and a story to tell, if you filled that esky with 5 of those bad boys it would be a different story.
