Gives me the S*#TS
Righto I am having a winge as I finally got my electrcial contractors licence so things were looking up.Drive around with the wife in the New Adventura add a bit of rain, a complete moron who decided that he could follow us really close, the truck in front of us braked suddenly......
WE STOPPED BUT OUR FRIENDLY TAILRIDER DIDN'T.............. now I am not a happy camper.
Went to the repairer of our insurance company and the verdict is 3-4 weeks to repair (hopefully if the chassis isn't bent), the bloke who hit us was driving his bosses car that DOESN'T HAVE INSURANCE....
This is for all the younger generation or for that matter anyone who is driving a bunky please at least get 3rd party private insurance so at least the person who you hit will be not inconvenienced too much. For around $120 you can get a years worth of insurance and not be faced with having to pay a huge bill to repair the damage you cause.
The main thing was normally we have out baby boy in the car with us but htis time he was being babysat at Nans house (thank god!).I would of hated to think how I would of reacted if he had been in the car (was angry enough without that, anyone who has met me can vouch for the fact that in size I do measure up well to my nickname (OX))
The Adventura needs to be completely stripped inside the back a some type of machine used to see if they can pull the ass end out straight again along with other repairs.......not happy jan!!!!
Please people take car in the wet and show some courtesy while on the road.Drive to conditions and to the type of vehicle you are driving.Must go back to crying now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers OX

True
Just makes you wonder sometimes when with the weather we had a friday there are still people around who think that they can still tailgate and expect everything to be alright!!!! Very frustrating

Agree
I agree with the comments , I buy the best tyres I can afford and never tail gate buy you get a lot of morons that think they are race car drivers and can handle anything that comes up , bet he had crappy tyres on his car and his brakes a little soft .
You should try towwing a trailer full of mowwing gear around , everyone wants to get in front of you where two lanes merg or think that space I leave in front of me is enough for them to fit in as the lights change yellow .
I carry a crow bar in the ute just in case .
Sorry to hear about the prang OX , must of got your adrenalin pumping but not enough to get the fists pumping .

Yep Mav
Will probably encounter the same problem soon as you (just ordered the work trailer); was really pissed off but with my wife in the car telling me to calm down you just have to bite your tounge, grit your teeth and RANT AND RAVE LIKE A LUNATIC!!!
To be honest mate when I first got out of the car I was ready to explode but when captain crash got out of his and saw me, he turned a little bit white!
Oh well the main thing is that everyone was OK! Well till I catch up with this bloke again and I am in my old Falcon ute with roo bar attatched......HE HE HE HE (evil laugh )

Hmmm not good!!
Theres nothing worse than breaking hard and them watching in the rear view mirror and see a guy aquaplane into the back of you and there is nothing you can do about it. I was number 6 in a 10 car pile up once. I managed to stop without hitting the 5 in front of me until a tailgater slammed into my back and cannoned me into the five in front.
Cheers

not good!
Not good mate, just when your trying to get your own business up and running a hurdle comes up and not your fault which makes it worst.
Glad you guys are okay and the little one not in the car, would of loved to been there to see his face when you confronted him hehehehehehe
Agree that people dont give you space especially in the rain, i'm towing 2 tons of boat and like Mav said you have a SAFE gap and people jump in then often slaming on their brakes also.......that shits me
