can feel the love
Can feel the love Salmo. :)
Not good news of the surface front lately, the new moon has shut it down. Sunday saw 15 boats out land about 3 billies for the entire day. Yesterday of a few boats I spoke to had 1 saily of about 40kg landed, 1 black of about 35kg, but had to work hard for them all day. Few dollies hanging north of the lighthouse and some bigger billies very wide. The water was magically blue inside the gulf today, finally come back together after Nicholas. Decent old swell working the westside, good 3m and making it hard work for the boats over there. Things are starting to pick up though so should be good for the comp hopefully. Thursday morning was forecast for 0-0 knots but has probably changed, still some good weather about thou. Towns picked up 2 fold in the last week, bloody tourist season. :(
Was about 3-5 knots out there this arvo then the tail of Opehelia came through and whipped things up a bit. Then went back to glass and was a sweet sweet arvo. Got 7 spanglies and a 1 blueline with heaps of throwbacks. Then went down the marina to dump some of the carcasses and a guy decided to give us 2.5kg of bluebone and coral trout fillets, Exmouth sucks sometimes.
