I think because the Dockers beat the Eagles, everyone is jumping off them. Rightly so, if the Dockers beat anyone they must be crap.
But dont forget it was only a scratch match, a time to blow out the cob webs and play without worrying about hurting a fellow team mate. (intra club).
I think the Eagles will do ok this year, contrary to what the "experts" say.
They have bought in some dynamic young players who have the energy to go the distance, replacing some older legs though experience counts for a lot.
I think there could be more old legs to go during this season as well.
Just out of the eight is my tip for them, but still ahead of the Dockers who are still persisting with Ross.
IMO he is half the problem, maybe swap him out for James Hird & send him to Melbourne as the opposition spy. Haha

No big predictions from me - especially concerning the Eagles!
Could be a closely contested season, though Norf and The Bluebaggers will be down the wrong end of the ladder methinks.
No Owen jokes this year, but it would be nice to see the Frockers get a few good floggings lol.
Should be a good Western Derby at the new ground first up and hopefully the Eagles will beat their sorry asses

Cripps curnow weitering etc keep that group together and they’ll be the next legacy group...anything less than 2 flags over next 6 years is unders.
Our WCE on the other hand - got nothing, will do nothing for 3 at least, maybe longer.....unless they shoot the so called coach and buy in some leg speed...we’re a one trick pony. No doubt we’ll steal a couple of upsets but no game plan underneath. It’s a crime for the likes of shuey and JK etc who deserve another crack at a flag, shuey prob young enough to see this coach out and win one with the next group but this current group is cooked for a while yet. Will be more than happy to be proven wrong and hope I am.
