Fishing spots

Hi Fellow fisho's
I have moved down from Port Hedland about a year ago and love my fishing, we live north of the river so I have been targeting the ocean reef area with very little success. Can anybody help me out with a few decent spots or coordinates for some dissented fishing out deep any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

do you have a gps ?
Have a look at your GPS, if you have one !
Look for contour lines, and drop offs - that's a good starting point.
If your sounder is capable of reading the bottom well, and can define sand and rubble ! Even better ! - next starting point.
Alot of fish are caught on non descript bottom - and at least you will not be accused of pinging, as most fisho's will fish well known secret lumps.
Put in the time and the rewards will come
Happy fishing

Yes Mate,
just invested in the a78 raymaine touch screen with down vision still working her out but at this stage should be a great sounder/GPS. I kind of know what you mean about the bottom we have found a lot of real flat ground to which I though was nil for fishing on but may need to give it a try next time I'm out is this what your saying mate??
