fishing for live bait

hi guys
i'm finding heaps of bait balls when sounding around
just wondering if anyone actually fishes these balls for bait.
do you just send down a sabiki rig on a hand line or is there another way?
found a massive school of slimy mackerel on the bottom , i only know because one jumped on my hook, but it got me thinking about picking up all the fresh bait you need while sounding for spots.

i don't see why not
can't see why you wouldn't fish the bait graham,
if youve got the tie mays well,
i guess a sabiki rig would work other than that just got a simple paternoster with a lumo bead and a small piece of bait.
happy fishing

get yourself a bait jig
They are a rig with about 6 or 7 hooks on them and bounce it up and down. Sometimes you might get a full line with them. They are better than buying bait and fresher as well>

take note that you are only
take note that you are only legally allowed to fish with 3 hooks on your line no matter what you are fishing for

live bait
if you intend to keep them as "live" bait, avoid handling the fish at all.
