Send a PM to PilbaraBrad, don't think he's been there lately, but might be able to give you a few pointers.
Cheers,

Not been down there for a few weeks but have heard of a few barra still around. Crabs are a bit quiet. Plenty of jacks if you can get past the bream. Main barra hole is directly in front of a rockbar/point on the right as you go in. Plenty of livies around the sandy beaches on the left when you first get into the creek or sandbar in the middle is usually
loaded with smaller, Jack size mullet. Also had some good success throwing plastics against the rock walls. Nice spot to camp too.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Pokies quite easy to get
Pokies quite easy to get to and for that reason gets quite a hiding although there are some great fish taken there every year.
As dodgy said there's a good rock bar on the right with a deep hole as you come in thats hard to miss. Also further down on the left is a nother smaller rock bar at the mouth of a creek this also goes well.
A little further down the coast is the mouth of the Yule and this fishes well as it doesn't see the same pressure as pokie.
man i miss hedland!
