under the motor - rod looks pretty thin was that caught on a 15kg combo?

Itwas a Shimano T-Curve 200
Deep jig, which is 24Kg rated. Reel was a Tyrnos 12 with 50lb fins braid and 80lb Jinkai leader. Certainly not a heavy lifting rod, but you can apply enough pressure on 50lb to have it really start hurting after a while--no harness to give the hands a rest

Mostly driving, courtesy of my wife. I forgot to acknowledge that in the video, it was a credit to her. I don't know that I've ever put that much prolonged weight on a 50lb outfit --on a fish that I actually wanted to catch, that is. Normally reserved for the " come to the boat now or fuck off " crowd, ie, sharks and big cod.
