fin nor rods

Has anybody tried these out yet?

seen them in the local and man these things have some balls!!! and they're supposed to be impossib;e to high stick, plus easy on the wallet too. i can see alot of one off sambo jiggers getting their moneys worth outs these rods

Theyre very lite. They would make an awesome bottom outfit being slightly softer in the tip than a jigging rod.  The blank is ball terror strong.

they look like they will make a good go in the market, well priced and as a few have said a very ballsy rod, hopefully when there is stock around we will have them at the tackleshack

Had a feel of the 15 and 24kg ones the other day. The 15 is I think 7' long which is just a bit too long for a jigging rod. Not overly light either compared to some rods I've used. However, the 24kg one was pretty damn light for its rating, and loads up pretty well too. The grip is really odd though. I can kinda see what they're going for, but not for me (I guess you could fix it with a belt sander though, hehehe). Worth a look/test if you get a chance.

yes the 24kg one is nice, and will be nicer as you stated, with a foregrip modification, apart from that its a great rod at a great price

Never seen any Fin Nor Rods, but these guys were the leaders in Big Game Reels years ago.
