no such thing as very close
no such thing as very close to the beach unless you go to the lighthouse caravan park or fork out the big bucks at the marina.

Maybe even look at the
Maybe even look at the Yardie Creek Caravan Park down near the Tanatabiddi boatramp. We used to stay in the old 'shearers quarters' had eight single beds in it but we made up for the extras with mattresses on the floor and swags outside under the verandah. Not far from the beach/ramp either.
Ahhh wish i was up there now :(

Thanks guys
The other party im going with are having second thoughts now (drive time) and are thinking of Kalbarri. I hear the best things about Exmouth have not heard too much about Kalbarri so im fighting tooth and nail for Exe at the moment.

Keep fighting i go to both
Keep fighting i go to both and if fishing is the main reason exxy is worth the extra drive and there are also some amazing sights to see up there as well that you just wont see at Kalbari but if you get stuck with kalbari dont worry cause its still a pretty special place and there is lots to see and do as well as the fishing can be pretty good too

yardie
we stayed at that yardie ck homestead a while ago, in the shearers quarters.
NEVER AGAIN!
bit too rough for my liking. bugs in the bed, no air con, plus you have to go to town every day to top up supplies, etc. may as well just stay in town. bit more practical.
might have changed since then though...

Looks like Kalbarri it is. Read some reports on here about the place tho. Still sound good. Will have to speak to some of the lacoal to get the good land based info.
