Exmouth 2011 comps

I would really like to get serious about doing one or 2 Exmouth comps......Fishwrecked comp is April 9, 10, 11.....australian international billfish tournament (AIBT) March 14-18......Gamex March 19-26.......Probably need to get serious and book accomodation soon....from camping to renting a house works for me.....anyone want to get serious about doing it ?

Youd want to be on the ball to get into the AIBT, I think its 360 competitors odd and those spots will be taken like hot cakes from what I hear. I'm hoping to go in it with a mate and lucky we have a connection in, but theres going to be a fair few Eastern crews making the journey because its too good to miss. Should be a huge boost to town thats for sure.
As for Gamex, I'm never bothered for the whole week, traditionally 4/5 of those 7 days are shizenhouse and you might get 3 half decent ones if your lucky. The fishing is certainly hot though and some days well and truly worth getting flogged out there.
As for the FW one, its a bit later so a better chance of weather, but its only 2 days generally and maybe a 3rd this year depending on conditions. It doesn't have the same prize money or prestige (one day it might ;)) but is a casual comp between site members rather than the whole fishing community.

We are headin to exmouth
We are headin to exmouth from 19 march to the 2nd april for our annual fishin trip so we are prayin for good weather and are spewin that the fishwrecked comp is on a week later.Oh well maybe next year.We are staying at yardie.
