mate

i agree with crazy

sat night i seen one of those boat latches in opp and was very impressed, might get one for myself.

if your trailer is the drive on type go with this, if not i would get a 10-1 winch and with the 3 speed settings you will do it with ease, your boat is lighter than my old 6mtr glass one we had and it was a piece of cake.

by the time you set up your elec to work each time i would already be pulling out.

cheers

have a look at the "power

Sun, 2010-06-20 19:12

have a look at the "power winch" johnno i used to have one on my 7.5 and it went well . i had to swap to a manual 3 stage after killing it tho. but for your 6m it would be fine as im sure your not beach launching like i do all the time.

as for driving on ..yeah its great if you have enough water under you, but it will damage a lot of ramps and i understand its slowly getting banned at some areas.

we have one and it is slow

we have one and it is slow but it does save the elbow greese after a full days fishing out deep. if your beach launching it would be faster to drive on

I do a heap of beach launching with a 7.o mtr ali and if you can't drive it on set up a petrol driven winch with a small honda motor and a heavy duty winch. rips your boat on in no time at all
