Seeing as my motor is 19 years ols and starting to have a few age issues I'm possibly looking at repowering
Have had a look at the new Tohatsu range does anybody have any feed back for these motors or even better have one.
From what I've researched so far I'm hearing very good things....
Just thought I'd throw the net open, new motors and recommendations, Mercury, Honda, Yammy would love feed back on them all.
Cheers

Pretty sure the new Tohatsu
Pretty sure the new Tohatsu four strokes are just rebadged Hondas as they went into partnership.
Kinda like how the old 2 stroke ones were rebadged mercs.
Maybe compare prices with Honda BF90 and see what the difference is. Least with Honda you get 7 year warranty and probably better dealer support.
Found the guys in malaga pretty well priced as been looking to get a new 150.

Honda announcement
https://www.tohatsu.com/marine/int/news/addition_of_60hp_to_250hp_4-stroke_outboards_to_our_line-up.html
Review piece from BoatSales:
"..Tohatsu also has a tie-up with Honda, although the relationship between these two companies has Honda making outboard engines for Tohatsu; the high-powered 150hp, 200hp, 225hp, and 250hp Tohatsu four-strokes are all badge-engineered Hondas.
Right now you can also buy 100hp and 115hp Honda-made Tohatsu four-stroke outboard engines sizes. However, they are set to be replaced with the all-new Tohatsu 75hp, 90hp, 100hp and 115hp motors revealed late in 2020 and just now tricking into Australia..."

Pretty sure that Tohatsu
Pretty sure that Tohatsu made the majoirity of motors under 20hp and others such as Johnson, Mercury and Mariner just put their stickers on them.
