dunsborough boat spots

Hi guys heading down south for some boat fishing. o you need to head out miles to get good fish down thier. or can you saty in bay. hoping to catch a dhie queens nanny squid whatever anyone got any info.

It depends on the day.... Sometimes you'll catch in the bay itself and somedays nothing. You can try in close fishing weedy areas with sand patches for squid/king george anywhere from shore to miles out.
The four mile reef can produce some good skippy and snapper at times and the dhuies are usually further out.
On a good day try around the cape. I have heard of some nice dhuies etc being caught in close but watch the swell. Haven't tried there yet myself but will be next time down there.
Best thing is have a sound around and give it a try!!!!
