Day on the water

Decided to take the father in law out for a fish today we headed out of ocean reef at about 715 to a spot about 15 nm out by 930 we had 2 baldies and a good black ass in the boat. Was thinking we would be home early, well what a bad thought that was the breeze dropped not long after and stopped the drift. we fished for another 4 hrs with out a sized fish. Still had a good day out the trip back in was a great ride once the swell and wind dropped

Beauty. We were out in the
Beauty. We were out in the 40s off Mindaire by 9:30 and found the bite to be very slow and managed to land an undersized and sized dhu, a big stingray and something else that was either a huge dhu or another stingray. Didn't see any birds or surface action the whole way out or in and trolled for a couple of miles between spots for nothing.
What size hooks did you get the baldies on?

We tried a few spots that
We tried a few spots that usually get us dhu but had no luck. We hooked up early on in the morning to something that was big but it straightened out the swivel. The father in law was using 6/0 hooks. We didn't see birds working out of o/r either
