That's the problem with the AFL, they condone the use of drugs until a player gets "three strikes" then they act all tough & high & mighty. Any other sport in the world & you would be out on your sorry ass never to play again, regardless if you deal or use.
As for Chick, I think he used it as an excuse to get a free ticket to the GF courtesy of the seven network. Gave him a chance to catch up with old footy buddies, not that any of the Eagles would have wanted to after his comments.
A washed up has been that was good in his day but now bitter at the way they made him leave because of the shit he bought to the club. IMO..

I don't know that he was OK when he was a Hawk. They have a few cultural issues of their own - and it's nothing new to that club.

I am very happy with the bennel trade. I am very happy the club delisted crowley. There is no doubt about bennels talent. I hope the club environment, particularly johnson, son son, danyle pearce, hill and the leadership group keep him on the straight and narrow. It will be a win win.
Now we just need to get mccarthy home.
