Crack down on sales of moorings on Swan and Canning river.

Well looks like the state goverment is going to stop all this speculative buying and selling of moorings. News is that they will limit mooring sales prices to $5000 each and stop hiring on of moorings not used and taking back those moorings sitting iddle and having no boat registered to it.

GOOD!!! about bloody time they stopped the use of moorings as a trading item. Some people are sitting on a number of moorings and asking silly figures for them.

with luck this will get a lot of those useless unseaworthy tubs off the river that are just sitting there and being held for speculative resales. I hate seeing moorings unused and sitting iddle or half rotting boats on them that will never ever go to sea again sitting on a mooring that could be used by some one who really wants to be out and on the water.

Would be great to see moorings down south limited, can't cruise from Quindalup through Eagle Bay, to Bunkers without running the gauntlet.
