Peel inlet is good i hear. Went last Year but only one size one, seen lots of little ones. Depends on what time you go too.

Doe anyone know of a place closer to go scooping. Ta

Scooping Falcon on saturday night

Saw heaps of little ones, a couple of big berried females, Also hundreds of scoopers out there.  I would give it a couple of weeks or get a boat and go after the bigger ones diving or potting.

anywhere south of the cut

anywhere south of the cut there is heaps of shallow flats to choose from but like sacasmo said give it a couple of weeks and you will see a lot more big uns and less berried females. also early morning is the go to beat the crowds and they will be more active on sunnup. spots like near the bridges get a hammering.
