Coral bay day 2
First fish hooked . 10 mtrs from the boat and the taxman hit .
That was it , we went exploring out in the 120 mtrs region. Slowly moving along looking for any signs of life and eventually we found a bit of life. First drift all 3 of us were on . Mum got a fry pan snapper I got a nice robo and Sandy lost hers. Nothing else there interested in the bait so further north we went. Found some more life on the bottom and set drift. All up we all went well. Mum got her first amberjack, rosy jobfish and redthroat emperor. Sandy got her first goldband snapper and rosy jobfish. I managed my first goldband snapper that turned out to be the biggest fish for the day and my first rosy jobfish. All up was a great day and cruised back from 20 nm out sitting on average of 22 knots.

Comfortable fishing seat.
Comfortable fishing seat. Good variety of fish, those honeycomb cods are as good as trout in my book, and the robbos are the best. Well done.

Never had Robbo's but I read about it a lot on here. Hopefully when I go to the Mackerel Islands this year we'll get some.
