The prawning jetty in
The prawning jetty in Carnarvon was my favourite.
At least broome jetty you can still fish from. Not the whole lot but at least there is something.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Access to Bunbury harbour
Surf the breakwater, feed of mussels off the pylons, somewhere quiet to do a few skids on a Friday night or pull a few wheelies on Saturday morning....access by road no more

You'd be able to walk out
You'd be able to walk out there in knee deep water. Jetty is closed and it appears there is no money for restoration. The kids climb over the closed barriers and good fish are still coming from the front including some nice spaniards.

No money
Funny how the politicians can find A spare million or two for their junket tours of the world for their families and hangers on. That, And given their track record of just pissing all the taxpayers money up against the wall.
but when it comes to "finding" some $$$ for repairing the jetties in Esperance and Carnarvon (which were used by countless fishos and their friends and families every year) we are told "there are no funds available"
WHAT A CROCK OF SH*T, it really burns my p*ss.
I would gladly pay an extra $50 on my fishing license every year to see these great fishing platforms restored.
anyway just my two cents, what does everyone else think?

Cottesloe council can find
A spare 250K to repair an old left over from the Cottesloe jetty which is used by a few kids as a diving platform and some people think it looks great at sun set and that's about it.
But hey find a couple of hundred Ks out of the state budget to make a fishing icon safe for people to fish from pfffft.
No wonder tourism in the west is dropping off unfortunately Carnarvon will see a drop in tourist numbers who used to come up there specifically to chase the mullahs when the run was on.
