Cape Peron

Heading up to Shark Bay in May and am keen to try ballooning up the top of Cape Peron. Have fished up there before a fair bit and just love the place for a chilled out fish.
Was wondering if anyone had tried their luck ballooning there in the past?

havent ballooned
I havent ballooned there only cast out into that deep channel and wrestled with some unstoppable fish which were probably sharks and rays ,i was fishing 50lb and at night. But it looks like a good spot to send a balloon out.

i fished out there was great
i fished out there was great fishing there is a nice channel thats runs out caught some big snapper (most have to be thrown back because they are over size), sharks and shovel nose sharks, also caught small mackeral on lures that would look sick under a ballon i thought really shinny and the right size, also live bait galour

Yep, well worth it on the right day too.
Picked up macks n tuna, sharks are annoying tho, 3 noahs to every fish you hook.
Lost what looked like a cobia there once too, sharked ten metres from shore.
We used tailor caught that morning and gardies with the plastic skirts on em.
