C Map image no more secrets

Thought I'd throw this Cmap  image up as the ground looks bloody interesting.

Our drift lines are in 100m to the north where we caught the below.

I'm very keen to see how these "holes" read on the sounder as I only installed the card after the last trip up there. By the scale on the GPS not small either, even the ripples above look to be holding good lumps.

The ripples themselves  are literally on the 100m contour line.

C-Map

Yep its handy for some areas.

We were south of Rotto fishing our normal ground and it was really slow. Looked on C-Map and found a lump in the 70's so decided to go have a look. Was very fishy and we bagged out in 4 drifts

Great haul, I have had access

Great haul, I have had access to similar mapping with my job that showed shaded area's and contours, I would simply write down the coords and them check out next time I'm fishing that area.

Reveal

Son has the reveal sd card and I had a look at it for ground off Bunbury, the amount it shows is amazing, small edges are shown as a thin black line that you cannot see on the navionic card and are only a metre or less high but will hold fish

The only drawback is that they only cover areas that have been fully hydrographly surveyed
