Either side of the tide change may produce some bottom species or chase some tuna there should be plenty around. Fish off the shore on incoming tide for threadies. Not sure about launching a 6mtr boat over there Most people with boats that size drive them From Broome best to check with Port Smith.

Yea you will hold bottom on the high and low tides... Other than that it will be moving pretty fast in and out... Fishing the incoming tide with lures etc close in shore or inside the port its self could be productive. Out from Port Smith with pelagics etc would definantly be a chance as tuna/mackies are everywhere around Broome/eco beach. But in saying this i dont think the water temp has cooled off enough yet so i dont think there'll be much around yet... Always worth a try though because you never know... Id head to Jacks creek thou for barra personally... Watch out for the tides thou because ive been caught there on low tide in my quintex hornet... It gets shallow quickly out side the mouth too...

Launching your 6m boat will definantly be high tide job only from Port Smith... and retreive on high tide too... I havent launched from there yet but from memory you want a fair bit of water in there to launch that size boat... Correct me if im wrong on that one someone...
