breaming off a jetty

im going to bicton baths ...again
to try catch bream on a little ecogear sx40 hardy body
all the shows ive ever watched have been of people casting at a jetty..then realing out towards their boat
how to fish it if i am not in a boat, just on the jetty?
i know there are bream under the jetty 1 or 2 meters down
!!!!

Yeh as above things like vibes because the sx40 like to be on the bottom which is hard from a jetty but good from the sand.

You're going to struggle
You're going to struggle getting an SX40 down 2m, but agree with the lures stated above, particularly a vibe as there are a few blowies down there.
But yes i agree with standing on the shore or towards the start of the jetty as you want the lure down deep going past the structure.
or my favourite method: mussels. on a non-glassy day you cant beat a small whole mussel droppedright next to a peice of structure.
