Rescue helicopter locates overturned boat WA RAC rescue helicopter ABC 2010
Three people have been taken to hospital after being rescued from waters off Bunbury after their boat partially capsized.

The state rescue helicopter was sent to an area near the Capel River, between Bunbury and Busselton after an emergency beacon was detected about 05.30 this morning.

The helicopter found two men sitting on the upturned 5.5 metre boat with one man in the water about 06.45.

The three men, aged 47, 39 and 31, were taken aboard the helicopter and flown to Bunbury Airport where they were met by waiting ambulance crews.

They have been taken to Bunbury Hospital suffering mild hypothermia but it is understood their condition is not serious.

Bunbury Volunteer Marine Rescue is at the scene and is likely to attempt to tow the vessel back to shore.

moved off without pulling the anchor - never done that but have anchored with the boat end of the rope tied to naff all.
