Well we had a pretty average day, raised our first sailfish in the first 10 minutes of trolling but he was gone before we could switch a bait. Thought it was looking good but didn't raise our next fish until about 12.30 which bill whacked one of our trolled baits and then was gone. After that we didn't see anything for the remainder of the day. There were 57 billfish tagged on day one, 56 sails and 1 black marlin (if my memory is correct)..

Will give an update for day two when we get back tonight, heard a report of a tagged striped marlin on the radio today so it will be good to confirm that.. plus a few more black marlin caught today compared with yesterday... and the usual sails.
