Big whiting

Put the boat in the drink this morning thinking it might be ok . But like the weather forcasters i was wrong. Made our way out a bit but got nothing but wrasse. Ended coming in a bit just inside one of the reefs. Trumpeter and bread and butter fish everywhere along with small flatties but amongst them was a few whiting . Not much but got dinner anyway. As they say a bad days fishing beats a good days work.

only got the 4 but enough
only got the 4 but enough for 2 of us. gotta get some more tho. my folks love the them as well.the big one went 320. havnt see one that size for a long time

Nothing wrong with a feed of whiting.
Mandurah can be a frustrating place to dish some times if you want some info shoot me a pm and I'm happy to pass on the info I have learnt over the years I have been fishing down this way. Hardest part is getting the weather gods to play the game let' hope this summer is heaps better then last year.

cheers. summer fishing in general can be frustrating. i have found over the years you get more good days out during the winter, downside is you dont realy want to get out of a warm bed too early
