best squid lures?

hey guys i'm trying to get into squidding a bit more, wondering what the best brands u guys use are? i tried the yamashita and they work quite well for me int the natural colours, but i'm having trouble finding stores that sell them, they always seem to be out of stock. i wouldn't mind trying the haramitsu's or yo zuri's but again finding the good ones is hard. any suggestiong on where i can get some good jigs from? or any other quality japanese brands. i dont mind paying for quality..

Ive got an extensive collection of lures - yozuri, yamashita, haramitsu.

I still prefer my Yozuri Aurie Q...

2.0 for shallow stuff to 3.5 for the sound. With a good drift you can just them in the rod holder and not get snagged - Automatic.

I think bluewater have a got a new range, but i have yet to try!

Scottno - stand by someones

Scottno - stand by someones shoulder that's using the harimitsu mate and you will be the one with jack. I didn't beleive it either, but they do improve catch rate remakably. Of course you can catch em on the cheapies, but the more exensive and quality jigs are working wonders for me and outfishing normal jigs in the same session 5:1 thus far.

I like my yo zuri's

they work well enough for me. I have both bright ass colours (pinks/greens/blue/orange) and more natural colours and generally I find my pink and blue ones the most effective - go figure.

Yozuri

Untill recently I had a huge yozuri about a foot long,it caught squid fron 6" to 2foot long.Mate laughed when I produced it saying it wouldn't catch a thing,he soon changed his tune when he saw them leave another jig and go straight to it.After having it for a couple of years with regular use it stood up to it well but in the end there was nearly no fabric left on it.Tried painting it again but it was never the same. Not sure but I think it was a 7/0 or 8/0 and if I see another one for sale it will end up in my tackle box for sure

cheers guys, always seem to get the same few names thrown around, yamashita, yo zuri and haramitsu... i've heard stories of guys spending around $40-$50 on a squid jig, and knowing the other brands aren't that much i'm pretty curious to know wot those ones are...

Harimitsu

a greyish one with silver flecks cleaned up for us on Geo Bay over Easter - 9 out of 17 on the one lure and several more got off. BUT a few weeks ago a reddish orange one outfished all others.
