Well the team was called Benny and the Jets and the 2 jets fished well. The plan was to get some nice mackies to get the account open and within 2 hours to trolling Di caught a 11.4 lb and Shelley got a 9.6 lb mackie( those weights are after they were both gilled and gutted,comp rules).We went to go for some bottom fish when the rod screamed off both on the girls wanted nothing to do with this one and just about to be spooled ,snap!. She would have been a cracker of a mack, but thats fishing. Got to one of my bottom grounds ( 32m) with not much luck . Small reds ,snapper and 1 big arse cod. Di pulled up the only trout 56cm.In all the girls had a great day and the fished well, it was my pleasure to skipper,deckie, do rigs up , put bait on and pull anchor LOL
