Behind Raffles

I've being doing a lot of work on Canning Beach Road, Applecross, just behind the Raffles

The rive is across the raod from the job

Are there fish in that section that can be rreached from the shore?

Keep feeling desire to cast a light line and SP's after work (or before/ during?)

Haven't seem any activity for such easy access to the river

Regards

Phil

Thats a great stretch of shoreline there. You'll get into a fair few good size flatties there by just wading around and up to the Pt Heathcote cliff. You'll get the occasional Giant Herring going through this time of the year as well.

Definately give it a try before work (early morning) and after work (late arvo).

Work your SP on the bottom and not too slow as the blowies will decimate it. Otherwise go with hardbodies that will bounce off the bottom abit.
