Adamangler, setup wise use 15kg good quality mono and plenty of it, 1m of a Halco Lockweld wire 80-100lb and snell on 3 x Mustad tarpon 7/0 hooks (pre sharpened) with a Owner 3/0 stinger treble at the end. Gardie for bait , baitmate cotton/ghost cotton to keep the bait onto the hooks and a pink skirt over the top of the head.

Helium better to get more lift/hight with the easterly wind to push out your bait. Hi-vis ballons so you can see them and it can be fixed or running depending. The first and second sand holes to the South are good spots especially if the swell is up.

Macs are around in Sept, with with the right winds you can balloon if not switch to other forms of fishing there.

Tailor, mulloway, pinkys and dart etc can be also caught with baits and lures. If the swell is down and the winds wrong for balloning spinning lures & baits off the beach or reef if possible will get a bend in the rod.

As Old Banga mentioned, Ted and his son are always happy to help.
