those chutes work like a treat, never had a prob with one, never fails to open up and sits a bit below the water so it doesnt get tangled with the swell pushing it around, i got one of the first batch and never looked back, slows a 23 footer down dramatically

the retrieve is easier than deploying it, just pull on the tail rope and once turned you wouldnt think you have a parachute on the other end

Deploying isnt as straight forward as ppl think, getting a sea anchor to open up in all conditions/all the time and "quickly" isnt the norm!

These sea drogues do offer that and retrieve just nicely also!

only used mine once but slowed us down twice as much as the strandard drift anchor. just need this weather to clear so i can get out there again
