Anyone no how the crab numbers are down at Mandurah??

Hi guys as the Blue Manna season is about to open again in a week or so..was just wondering does anyone know if theres many around at the moment down at Mandurah cheers!

Will let ya know on Wednesday when I fly back home. Goin to head to my fav spot in the estuary and drop some pots. I feel like some chilli crab!

i caught crabs in mandurah
...nothing like dropping the pots in..then ducking down to the ravenswood hotel for a couple of cold ones, then taking a feed of crabs home!

Thats it Wade nothing like a couple of coldies at the ravo. Last year we did fairly well as soon as the season opened with plenty of big blues in the deeper water. As for scooping there was nothing but females in the shallows and they were all very small. Having a few blues at that time of year was a bit wierd as they normally come out early dec. I will go see and hopefully they are out early again this year

Yes watto last season was great..we got our limit most times we went out...few really good spots in there....you just have to think of places people wouldnt throw there pots in..and you clean up in one pull !

Southern Peel inlet near Pt
Southern Peel inlet near Pt Grey t Boggy Bay apparantly goods at the moment. Pro's hiting that area hard and goin Ok from what iv'e heard. Give it a crack, and if worst comes to it Ravo has a nice counter meal
