Fix
Oil
Repair

says it all for you,
but try Scotty at Kingspark Auto Electrical, I know he lives down south, with his workshop in Kingspark.

He says there is an intermittent starting fault

The biggest problem is when the car gets hot and then it won't start again.

hi there mate,

my Dad is a gun mechanic in Canning Vale, been doing it for 30 plus years, with all sorts of experience from Combine Harvesters to Car to trucks to boats.  Concentrates on cars mainly now.  Give Don a call on 9455 7788

he comes highly recommended and people travel a long way to go to him.  He is just off Bannister Rd.  pm me if you want any more details

i had a similar problem with my 95 farmont, were it would start fine some times and other times nothing completly dead, ended up being the smartlock system went faulty, got it disable and been working happy ever since, quick goodle common problem, in the meentime u can start the car by using some wire and put out the starter relay and join it together.

Had same problem

Wed, 2010-03-10 20:26

Yeah i had the same problem with my ED, It was the body control module which may have the smartlock incorporated. With mine if you held the key in the start position and give the dash at the bottom and to the left of the steering column a wack it would start. Thats were the module on mine was located. Good luck
