He says there is an intermittent starting fault
The biggest problem is when the car gets hot and then it won't start again.

He tried to start it up after work but there just didn't seem to be any spark there.

i had a similar problem with
i had a similar problem with my 95 farmont, were it would start fine some times and other times nothing completly dead, ended up being the smartlock system went faulty, got it disable and been working happy ever since, quick goodle common problem, in the meentime u can start the car by using some wire and put out the starter relay and join it together.

Yeah, I think his problem is something really stupid like that. Hopefuly he will get it sorted soon.

Had same problem
Yeah i had the same problem with my ED, It was the body control module which may have the smartlock incorporated. With mine if you held the key in the start position and give the dash at the bottom and to the left of the steering column a wack it would start. Thats were the module on mine was located. Good luck
