Anyone fishing dawesville cut this morning?

I'll be at the north groyne. Would be great to meet some members, an I could use a hand with netting my salmon :P I'm feeling pretty confident haha. I'm 5mins away

Ha 0!! I saw one straggler
Ha 0!! I saw one straggler swim past but I had just cast the lure out over it's head by the time I saw it and it was long gone by the time I got the lure back in. Bloke saw a school of 15 fish swim past half an hour before I got there! Spewwing. I blame the tides. High tide was only 0.9 something and that was before dawn I think. I like high tides mid morning, and so do the salmon! Heaps of herring and some big ones +25cm out there too
