any recomendations

i'm chasing any thoughts on a good value for quality rod reel outfit that i can use bottom bouncing ffb and occasionly casting.I have my penn and shimano overheads loaded up with braid that i use for out deep but just seems overkill when fishing shallower water any advice would be appreciated ie kg rating of rod line class etc thanks.

Do you know what you hope to

Do you know what you hope to catch on the setup? Ie could go heavier if expect bigger fish like dhuies and pinkies compared to skippy/whiting/kg. By heavier I mean 30lb or so but light combo (eg Calcutta and light rod or a saltist LD20). A fair few options with baitcaster setups and they're nice and light (and can still run at least 20lb on most). Could get a barra rod or a jigging rod for it (eg salty fighter for light stuff). One advantage to jig rods is that often they start loading up quicker so easier to keep the rod bent for a wider size of fish. Can still cast with those outfits (depending how comfortable you are with baitcasters). Otherwise lots of spinning outfits if you prefer. Depends what you like chucking down and what you're comfortable with.
Just some options to consider.

thought their would be alot more fishos out there keen to tell me their favourite set ups!   so much choice in tackle shops would be nice to narrow it right down.
