Albany Dolphinfish

When i was in Bremer Bay over Easter we ran into a couple of fisheries officers. They told us that on Easter Monday a bloke caught a dolphinfish, a tuna, and a salmon on the same troll around the back of one of the islands. The guy apparently didn't know what he had caught!
Nice trifecta for the south-coast. Water temp was 23 degrees off Bremer

would have been a nice surprise for down there. strange for the water temp to be 23 . a dollie in Albany, thats something i have never heard of

plenty of salmon and stripy tuna being caught down here, heard a rumour about the dolly but no-one has confirmed it locally.

I know you've all been waiting with baited (or is that lured
) breath, sadly I can reliably report that is wasn't me! 

I've also heard the rumour down here, but haven't had a chance to catch up with Mark and the rest from DOF down here. Hopefully, I'll catch up with them at the next DOF Magistrates matter and ask them.
I certainly can confirm the water has been a lot warmer due to the Leeuwin current - yup, 23 was reading on my sounder last weekend and there are plenty of stripey's down here, here's a pic of a 12 Kg guy, pulled up on a double in line small skirt:
