my brother is giving me a choice and i dont know
he will take me to either
north mole
woodmans point
or city beach
anyone know what these places are fishing like?
looking at mainly herring

i would go north mole. more species to chase there and always a good chance you might get something big on heavier gear. just got to be early to get the good spots on the weekend and be prepared for others fishing close by

I would give Woodmans Point a try
Their have been consistent reports of salmon hanging around there lately. And I am sure there would be a few herring around as well.

russ you say early wat would be early round there
and colin id imagine squid jigs would be a try there

if u do go to woodies take
if u do go to woodies take ur jigs along and have a second rod rigged up coz if u hook a fish a squid might follow or u might see squid swimming and cast it out.
sizes 2.5 is good there.
