Adelaide tackle stores

Anyone know of any decent tackle stores in Adelaide going there for awhile for business so might as well do some fishing plus any decent charters

Thanks

Ray and Annes on Grand

Ray and Annes on Grand Junction Rd Pennington probably has the best prices in Adelaide plus a decent range too. It's also just near the Port River if you're off chasing bream. Otherwise there's Fishermen's Paradise in the city on Pirie St- specialist in fly but might be worth a look. There's a few good ones down south but like Tim said depends on the area you're staying in. I used to live there so have trolled through them all.

Yep Ray and Annes is good for a look and also Sportsfishing Scene at Cavan if your in that general area. Ross van Enckevort from Rodworks works there at times and is great to chat to if you have an interest in rod building.

in the city would have to be one of the best presented tackle shops....

huge and I mean do huge tank at the back of the store with a monster cod......watched them feed it it yabbies....talk about a bucket gob....

this store organised trips for their customers/anglers  to come over here to WA ... sambos with Al Bevan.

They stock all the expensive stuff.......

Sportsfishing scene Cavan store also pretty good....mostly stocks the same stuff as us here.....few more cod lures etc....but we dont have cod....

Recommend Ray all Annes then Fishermands paradise and sportsfishing scene.

If after a charter I'd call Peter at Fishing Charter Brokers Australia on 0405 063 233, he is SA based and a personal friend of mine, he can set you up with a decent operator in SA or NT for that matter.

Cheers

Paul
