Ive been doing good on the 3 mile lately too, mostly skippy (the biggest went 62cm to fork of tail) and sambos upto 1m long, but also got a heap of black ass, a few small pinkies and 1 48cm dhuie. Just make sure u burley up!
Hi Lisa, its relatively new to me however, we've had some some success fishing just beyond the reef on the coral flats (no particular lumps). And yes its roughly 3 miles off the coast.

Went out to the 3 mile (on the seaward side) from Hillarys on 7th Feb with my son.
We had skippy, flathead, wrasse, 1 blackarse, 3 dhuis and a strange sharklike thing (proper name would be appreciated?).

Havent seen any good dhu fish for a while. I have never fished off any where in Perth, I asume it is only 3 mile off hillaries.
