All those holes would be full of fish scum, bait scum and salt within a couple of hours on my boat. I'd hate to have to clean one.

They are tuff little reels , used one last year during Sambo season, only downside was the spool size only fitted 200 m of 80 lb braid on it , pulled some astronomoical drag pressure out of the box for it's size , handled Sambos to 1500mm easily .

I think the little rod it was on was around a grand as well!!!

Looking forward to having another play with them this year.

5 months till the SAMBO'S are back .

I thought it was a different company.

It is the same guy who founded Van Staal and designed those reels but they are now owned by another company so he went and designed these.
