black spot tusk fish, blue spot tusk fish, blue parrot are part of the choerodon schoenieinii family. This photo is of the black spot ie bluebone. i'm not sure about baldies or venus tusk fish , they are all very similar species by appearence so i am sure they are related. All very good eating. I wrote an article on bluebone which will be featured in western angler in comming months, stay tuned.......

Blackspot tuskfish, aka bluebone, some of the best eating you'll find.. I hear ya about the weather Brad, those N.Easterlies are sh*tn me!!
