Yeah I thought it was a pinky BUT you just never know if it's something from over east that looks like a pinky but isn't a pinky , too many people from all over the world on the fishing forums these days to assume anything .
I use to feel embarassed for Rexy bragging about pulling a 35cm pinky in melb bay and calling it a good fish .
We don't know how lucky we really are here in the west .

If you measure from the tip of tail to tip of nose it was 30cm,
and size limit over here is 30cm. And if my young fella wasn't there, and I caught it, I would of chucked it back but he was so excited we had to keep it. I only wish I knew some spots over here where I could catch fish like I used to in WA. Maybe soon I'll find a few good spots.

Yeh but it was that windy he laid at the front of the boat most of the time after he caught his fish.
