What is it?

For all the fish boffins out there, I need your guess?
The closest I got was an Atlantic Rubyfish. Similar but not exact.
Any ideas?

Hi Tim,
This fish looks like a small-toothed jobfish, they like deep water (100m) and usually caught from Carnarvon north right around the top. they are good eating like a gold-band or any jobfish.

I did see the smalltooth jobfish but the colour threw me as they were described as "bronze to blue-grey body with yellowish fins".

I'm not sure what the scientific name is but its quite a common capture on jigs in the tropics. We call it Rusty or Red Jobfish
