Little hard to tell from that photo but it does rule it out of being too close to the motor.
Does it sit lower than the hull? If so all good.
Usually losing the image as speed increases is a transducer mounting issue.
Either too high or angle (Slightly forward of flat).

Really hard to tell but does not look to be in clear water - ie. near the strake and the tranny does look low.
Google how to setup a tranny or use instruction booklet if you have it and you will understand about running a tranny in clear water and height setup.
