Hmm this should be a timely reminder to all boaties. A spearo got shredded by a boat yesterday off Curranong in NSW. Poor bloke was dead by the time they got him back to shore.
Divers also need to make sure that their flag is displayed correctly as well. I was coming in from rotto the other day and went past a boat at anchor with the dive flag mounted on a float, which was tied to the side of the boat with only a metre of rope. Flag was only visible 180 instead of being visible 360 degrees.
