Jumping in at south passage the other day felt like being in a furgle factory, felt so sharky I had an eye out everywhere, especially when the boys started burleying again. Was worth it to see the wahoo in action though. Let me tell ya, you wont be spearing one of those without a float line or good bye gun!
unless you get close enough to spine him mate, pretty hard to swim without a functional backbone. But yeah no way i would spear anything huge without a float line, well not in deep water anyway. Got a couple of nice nice 55cm jacks today at the same spot

I wouldnt be worried about the big one swimming past Brad. I would be more worried about the really big one swimming over to you and eating you.
