Sambo on White plug

After a great session catching herring we moved on to look for some early salmon. Spotted a small school resultin in no fish hooked. On the way back I chucked a Richter plug into the white water near the rocks an put the rod in the rod holder. I didn't expect to get anything really and wasn't paying attention when, zing zing zing my stradic 5k was screaming. At first I thought it would have been a salmon, but after a while of fighting I was thinking more towards a tuna or sambo. As it turned out it was a sambo. My first sambo on a surface lure.

Yeah
I had used up all of my VMC singles so I put a double hook assist on the back to replace the trebles. The fish was well hooked and let go to fight another day.
