1st fish
Salmo pulled up a ripper which must've been lurking under the Salmon.
At least 9 kg. We kept looking for more, but couldn't get past the bloody Salmon LOL!!

8.5 kg
Salmo says 8.5 on the scales and Jody says more fish were at 9 kilo's so they missed out weighing them in for a record .

HMMM, well there ya' go,
All I was saying was the record stands at 7.42 kg , it's like the Sambo's I recon a record fish gets caught every year but nobody worries to weigh them properly , I wasn't acusing anyone of making anything up ?? I don't think I can question if a fish is a certain weight or not , I recon I'm the worst at guessing weights especially from pics.

Yeh and scales arent accurate either
I would'nt bet a whole lot that the scales were right Mav
In fact not many are correct....so we are only guess'in anyway....

waiting!
I'm still waiting for my 8kg salmon, after 10 years i've got 7.2kg and my mate old Palumbo got a 7.5kg weighed on correct digital scales. That's fishing up and down the coastline....that fish Jodys holding is a good fish!
