Agree totally
Any of the marine protected areas have a good biodiversity.
Not everybody fishes for the future and if you look at how the fish population has been decimaated off the beach reefs around perth then you must know some people will spear anything.
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !

Spear anything?
I'm not sure how you can point the finger at spearing? There aren't many beach reefs around Perth where you can spear anything at all. Marmion and Cottesloe Marine Parks put a stop to that years ago.

I have no problem with exclusion zones as long as they don't take over unwarrented stretches of ocean. Rotto is pretty special and if they opened up what is protected it would be raped pretty quick.
